Blohm

Stephan Blohm (born 1970 in Bremerhaven, Germany) serves as Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder of a Luxembourg service company and possesses nearly three decades of experience in the finance and investment sector. Throughout his career, he has held leading positions at various international banking institutions and investment firms.

Education

Stephan Blohm completed his studies in Business Administration at the University of Augsburg between October 1990 and September 1995. His academic training focused on the fields of Auditing and Controlling, with which he successfully concluded his business studies.

Professional Career & Entrepreneurial Development

Following the completion of his academic career, Blohm joined an internationally operating auditing, management and tax consultancy firm in 1995. In his role as Head of Auditing, he was accountable for audit assignments at both medium-sized and institutional clients.

From 1999, he assumed the position of Head of Fund Accounting in Dublin (Ireland) at a fund administrator. In this capacity, he primarily managed investment funds for institutional investors. Subsequently, Stephan Blohm returned to Germany and worked until 2002 as Head of Business Project Services for a leading global custodian bank.

From 2002 to 2006, Stephan Blohm held executive positions at an internationally operating asset management company based in Munich. During the years 2004 to 2005, he served as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Northern Europe and carried responsibility for the Finance & Controlling, Project & Process Management, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources and Product Development departments in Germany, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

In 2005 and 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition to this function, he was responsible for the company’s Internal Auditing.

During the period from 2009 to 2011, Stephan Blohm served as Managing Director of an asset management company based in Luxembourg, where he held operational management and was responsible for, among other areas, Portfolio Management, Sales & Marketing, Product Development and Project Management.

In 2013, he joined a competitor in Luxembourg and took on the position of Managing Partner. His expanded scope of responsibility encompassed the areas of Sales & Marketing, Portfolio Management and Auditing.

Supervisory Board Activities

From 2011 to 2017, Stephan Blohm served as a member of the supervisory board of an owner-managed asset management company in Munich.

Since October 2010, Stephan Blohm has served as Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder of MEDIAN Services. As a specialist in the design and administration of individual and complex investment structures, he provides clients with innovative, professional, comprehensive and neutral service solutions in the field of capital investment.

Social Commitment & Miscellaneous

Throughout his professional career in Europe, Stephan Blohm has provided support to various social initiatives. These include organisations dedicated to the promotion and training of guide dogs for severely disabled individuals, as well as fundraising campaigns for social institutions such as children’s hospices and palliative care teams. Furthermore, Stephan Blohm continues to advocate for initiatives in the areas of sustainable corporate culture & mobility, responsible use of resources, social equality and the expansion of renewable energy. The significance of future generations as well as the needs and care of children remain central to Stephan Blohm’s activities.
